Oleoplan sells 106 million liters in the 63 rd Biodiesel Auction and reaches historic mark

The negotiations of the 63 rd Biodiesel Auction just came to an end this Monday (08). In total, 964.3 million liters of biodiesel were sold to supply the national market during the months of November and December.

Oleoplan is responsible for 11% of this volume with the sale of 106 million liters of biodiesel. 60 million liters were sold by our unit in Veranópolis (RS) and another 46 million were sold by our unit in Iraquara (BA).

These are the first two months in which Oleoplan Nordeste is going to work with its new productive capacity. In September, the Brazilian Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuel Agency (ANP, in Portuguese) authorized our biodiesel plant in Iraquara to increase its production by 60%, from 180 to 288 million liters of biodiesel per year.
