On Wednesday (25/06), Brasilia hosted an important event for the biofuels sector: the approval of the return of the schedule for increasing the biodiesel blend in fossil diesel, with the implementation of B15. The decision represents a concrete step forward in Brazil’s energy transition and reinforces its commitment to a low-carbon economy.
Oleoplan was present at the event with an active participation, reaffirming its purpose of decarbonizing the national transport matrix. We took one of our 100% biodiesel (B100) trucks to the ceremony, demonstrating in practice that “we produce, we use”. Today, part of our own fleet – which now totals more than 200 trucks – runs exclusively on biodiesel, showing that it is possible to combine efficient logistics and environmental commitment.
As well as being a benchmark in sustainability, the biodiesel produced and sold by Oleoplan’s plants has the highest quality standards on the market. All batches shipped are subjected to rigorous analysis, with more than 20 parameters tested in INMETRO-accredited laboratories, guaranteeing safety and performance for engines and the environment.
