Oleoplan – a company with over 45 years of experience and a pioneer in the National Biodiesel Program – now has another biodiesel plant. Located in the town of Lucas do Rio Verde/MT, the new unit consolidates the group as one of the largest and most diversified biodiesel producers in Brazil.
Reinforcing our aim to contribute to the decarbonization of the national energy matrix, the Mato Grosso unit becomes the group’s fifth plant – joining those in Veranópolis/RS, Iraquara/BA, Tomé-Açu/PA and Cacoal/RO – further contributing to adding value to domestic raw materials and generating wealth in the interior of Brazil.
In production terms, Oleoplan now has an authorized installed production capacity of 4,563 m³ of biodiesel per day, or the equivalent of 1.67 billion liters per year. This is currently the largest biodiesel production facility in the country.
Always striving for maximum efficiency, engagement with partners and employees, and simplicity in our actions, we will continue to grow in the production of biofuels in a sustainable way and with a long-term vision.
